Talking Heads

I've had my fill of the talking heads claiming truth without giving any proof. For instance, if ICE is operating illegally, explain how and what law is being broken. Also if operating legally, what law allows their actions.  Being humans, it's likely that some individuals have stepped over the line. That's not what I'm talking about. We shouldn't be considering that a few represents the whole.

The same talking heads continually jump to conclusions without having the whole picture concerning the actions of individuals. I don't want to hear your propaganda.

Nothing Toxic About It

Other than 'gun control', that the communists want badly, I occasionally hear the term 'toxic masculinity'.  What the hell?!  There is absolutely NOTHING TOXIC about being masculine.  I asked the Boss about this and she said the term is absolutely ridiculous.  She recognizes there is a difference between men and women and thinks that's natural and a good thing.

WE think what they call toxic is a result of trying to make boys behave like girls.  Guys, especially young guys, have a natural tendency to compete, sometimes violently.  Making this behavior unacceptable is against nature.  The trick is to channel this nature in a healthy way that allows growth to manhood.

I once thought that having Mom around was all that was necessary to raise children, that Dad wasn't important.  Over the years, the Boss has changed my mind.  She insists that I played a huge role in our boys growing up to be the good men they are today.  Apparently by being there as an example, our boys learned to be men.  At least the Boss says so.

Having Dad, as a good example, is all too often missing in today's society.  If boys were allowed to be boys and had a good example from Dad, a good portion of our social problems would be solved.

Bending Over

Something like 3 months ago we accepted an offer on the old house, that's been sitting empty for over 2 years with a for sale sign in the yard.  I can't even remember how many times we've extended the sales contract.  The problem?  Primarily new confusing regulations concerning in-law suites.

We were to have closing today . . . again, . . . . but it's been delayed for another week . . . . again.

Getting screwed by government BS once again.

He's Been a Bad Boy

So what will the ethics committee do as punishment to Rangel? It certainly won't be what I'd like to see happen. Anybody convicted of 11 counts of ethic violations should be kicked out of congress, but that sure as hell won't happen. They'll probably kick him off of some committees and tell him to be nice in the future, then he'll just continue his corrupt ways.

Bull-Shit

Juan Williams got fired for expressing the feelings and thoughts of millions of Americans by saying something like - - - When someone dressed as a Muslim gets on an airplane I get nervous. Anyone in their right mind would would be nervous. I'd be watching the Muslim like a hawk. This attitude is entirely necessary for self preservation.

Then a US Muslim group (CAIR) complains and NPR fires Williams. What a bunch of asinine politically correct bull shit. So far we in the US have been extremely tolerant towards our Muslim neighbors post 9/11. This is the kind of shit that can trigger an anti-Muslim uprising.

CAIR has been complaining about the possibility of religious profiling. In my estimation it's time to start doing just that.

Another Stupid Law

Here in Ohio they passed a law that requires the head lights of your vehicle being on when the windshield wipers are on. Next thing you know they'll require a permit to take a crap and regulate how much water your toilet uses per flush. Wait a minute. The Fed did that last one a few years back.

God save us from the do-gooder elites that think they're smarter than the rest of us.

Bunch of Damn Traitors

The farther we get into the present fascist government, the more I think the Boss may be right. The Perfect Storm could in fact be coming. The approval of the legislature is has been extremely low for 4-5 years now, even lower than Bush's. Combine that with a new president that has no regard for the country, values or heritage for which he serves, and The People are reaching the line in the sand.

Anyone with a working brain knows that he's continually lied about citizens owning guns. Despite what he says, he's spent his political career in an effort to disarm us. Pelosie said this issue is on the back burner, probably because they'd loose control of congress for the effort. But that doesn't satisfy the new fascist in the white house. So now he's going to try a back door approach. He's supporting citizen disarmament by way of international treaty.

As far as I'm concerned our fascist in the big house is a traitor.

I saw on Beck where the EPA is trying to squelch the buying of incandescent light bulbs. They'd prefer we use the new low energy bulbs made in China that contains mercury. So during a bad recession, they'll increase the unemployment in Kentucky, where most regular bulbs are made, and support China by bringing in mercury contamination. More brain dead idiots.

Seems to me it's time to not only fire the Fed government, but the heads of all Fed agencies as well.

Treason

In the gangster days of Chicago and the beginnings of labor unions (redundancy) history claims there were a lot of illegal activity concerning ballot boxes. And voting multiple times wasn't exactly rare. Now it appears those days are back.

Folks, excuse me, but WTF is our chief election officer (Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner) doing issuing directives or uttering one word in any forum that leads to poll observers being barred, versus being allowed? That, in itself, is clearly treasonous and impeachable.

It will, of course, come as no surprise to you that the overwhelming majority of voters who took advantage of this small window of opportunity were ACORN plants.

Do you suppose it's a coincidence that ACORN is linked to the Democrat party, and the Brunner is a Democrat? Makes me wonder why we bother going to the polls.

And other states are experiencing shady acts as well.

Do these numbers add up to you?
In light of those numbers and in consideration of the recent stories of voter fraud rampant throughout the US in general, and some stories specific to Virginia in particular, I'm inclined to throw the BS flag. Something simply does not add up here. Am I wrong? Someone please explain to me where my reasoning is faulty and calm my fears.

As far as I'm concerned, this is just more mounting evidence that the fix is in. The leftists in this country are still pissed that they failed in stealing the elections from GWB in 2000 and 2004 and they are damn determined to get it done this time.

More of The Same

The congressional Demorats are up to their usual BS.

“Democrat no-energy energy bill embodies the rhetoric-first, solutions-last brand of leadership that has made this Democratic Congress the most unpopular in our nation’s history. By failing to provide states with the opportunity to share in the revenues generated by offshore drilling, the bill gives governors and state legislatures no incentive whatsoever to opt-in.”

Although the bill does open up some offshore areas to drilling, it sets up a revenue sharing scheme that wouldn’t give states any incentive to participate. . . . . The bill actually forever bans drilling within 50 miles of shore and makes law the annual funding rider that was set to expire on October 1st.

Unfortunately for Americans, the expansion in offshore drilling is an expansion in name only, putting most resource-rich areas under a permanent moratorium.

So the Democrat controlled congress is up to it's usual smoke and mirrors, an energy bill that does basically nothing to help.

Last week, the House passed legislation by a 266–152 margin to restore the Second Amendment rights of the residents of D.C.

Sadly, Sen. Reid refuses to schedule a vote in the Senate. This now seems like a transparent attempt by Speaker Pelosi to protect her pro-gun Democrats going into the Congressional elections this November by passing this bill in the expectation that the Senate will not consider the bill before the end of the year. Emphasis added

So when they tire of the smoke screen, or maybe adding to it, they mix in a little evil. No wonder some call it The Evil party. I can't think of a single reason they shouldn't all be fired.

Following This Advice is Foolish

Matthew Dugan did just what Toledo police chief Michael Navarre tells people to do when confronted by an armed robber, and it got him killed.

He said the best response to an armed robber is to comply fully and quickly, and to avoid making sudden movements.

He added: "Pick up a baseball bat if that’s your only defense against bullets coming toward you."

Comply fully? Grab a baseball bat? Bullshit. Take cover and shoot the bastard.

Now this works a whole lot better.

As Cherradi went to the ground, he said he reached for his gun, a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson.

As Cherradi struggled with the gunman, he managed to squeeze off two shots.“He just let go and started running,” Cherradi said.

“Once you put a gun to my head it’s not about robbing me, it’s about trying to kill me,”

The Sound of Liberty

After all these years you's think I'd have gotten used to the utter selfishness and stupidity of people. There are some that will buy a house off the end of an airport runway, then complain about the noise. Others but next to an interstate highway, then complain so much about traffic noise that tax payer money is spent to erect wall. Now I read about someone building a house next to a scout camp, with gun ranges, and bitch about hearing gunfire.

. . . trustee meeting that heard complaints from a couple who bought their "dream house" next to the 60 year-old Firelands (Boy) Scout Reservation and shooting range.

Hey stupid, if you live near a gun range, there's going to be . . . gunfire. If you don't like it don't live there. It's not reasonable to expect the range to leave just because you moved nearby. Asshole!

Personally that's the sound of liberty. It's music to my ears. I'd love to live close to a shooting range.

Proposed Socialist Platform

The proposed Socialist, . . uh . . Democtat platform.

We can work together to enact and enforce common-sense ( yeah right) laws and improvements, like closing the gun show loophole (that does not exist), improving our background check system and reinstating the assault weapons ban (which had no effect and had nothing to do with asault weapons), so that guns do not fall into the hands of terrorists or criminals (laws won't do shit about this).

We support art in schools and increased public funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities. The arts are wonderful, but increasing taxes or diverting monies from things like national security is rediculous in these times.

. . . “We will make an unprecedented national investment to guarantee that every child has access to high-quality Pre-K programs, and access to Head Start and Early Head Start and we will help pay for child care. We will ensure that every child has health insurance, invest in playgrounds to promote healthy and active lifestyles, and protect children from lead poisoning in their homes and toys. Improving maternal health also improves children’s health, so we will provide access to home visits by medical professionals to low-income expectant first-time mothers.” . . . Any way you cut it, that's blatent socialism.

Only the lazy freeloaders of this society could possibly support such BS.

HT to Alphecca.

Dictatorships Aren't That Intrusive

Back when I first started driving, seat belts weren't common, nor was there a law requiring their use. I wear a seat belt whenever traveling in a car. I actually had them installed in my first car. Requiring anyone to wear them, by law, is anti-liberty. Wearing a seat belt, or not, does not restrict anyone elses rights, so the law is not appropriate.

The same applies to things like helmet laws for motorcyclists. I always wore one, but I'm totally against any law requiring their use. It's just not appropriate.

Now I have some sympathy for laws restricting the use of cell phones while driving because thay may contribute to an accident hurting someone else. As I said, some sympathy, but those laws are also not appropriate because no one else is hurt until the accident happens.

This proposed law is simply stupid. No, make that intrusive. If such a law was passed where I live I'd simply ignore it. The next thing you know it'll be illegal to have a cup of coffee in your hand while walking down the street. I'd bet dictatorships aren't that intrusive into the individuals life.

That's Scarry

I saw a film a while back where some freaks were supposed to be able to predict crimes before they actually happened. The 'authorities' used these thought pictures as evidence, and the courts accepted this evidence to convict criminals(?) before any crime happened. While the film was entertaining, the premise was, and is absolutely scarry.

Well it looks like CT is actually practicing punishment prior to any crime being executed. Private property is confiscated because somebody "thinks" a crime "may" be committed. That's scarry!

Renewable Energy Source

proven oil reserves at the end of 1993 equaled 1024 billion barrels.

During the following ten years, 264 billion barrels were produced and consumed, yet proven reserves at the end of 2003 equaled 1148 billion barrels!

After 4 years of feverish demand and tremendous growth of the economies of China and India, with record breaking, almost unreal rates of petroleum CONSUMPTION, reserves of conventional petroleum sat at 1,317 billion barrels in January, 2007,

So according to the "experts", the oil reserves increased by 193 billion barrels in 14 years. During that same time period we consumed much more than 264 billion barrels of oil.
Looks to me like our best renewable energy source is . . . . . OIL.

Above The Law

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and the City Council have defied state statute by enacting several anti-gun measures, essentially "acting like urban vigilantes under color of law,"

The Pennsylvania Legislature has reserved the authority to regulate firearms within the state since 1974. That authority was upheld by a 1996 Supreme Court ruling in the Ortiz case.

So the mayor and city council have ignored the state legislature, thus breaking the law. What's up with that? If I ignore the legislature, I end up in jail. Not a chance that'll happen to them though, after all, they're of the elite and above the law.
