Confiscation

I think Canada has had gun registration for a while. Now it looks like the inevitable confiscation

I've read rumors that the US communists now running this country are pushing the courts to rule that it's OK to enter a persons home and confiscate firearms without a warrant. That would legalize confiscation.

Dimentia Anyone?

I'm sue they were cherry picked, but after seeing some of the clips from the news conference, it's obvious he's in bad shape mentally. I conclude that he's not actually performing the office of president. He's the person signing things but I bet he's not really making any decisions or determining policy. God help us if we're attacked directly by a foreign power.

I'm confident he was elected due to fraud, but there were still a lot of people who voted for him. So the guy who did more for the people of this country than any other in my lifetime lost. The communists got what they wanted, the ability to destroy everything that has made this a great country. It's happening before our eyes.

Handgunning Today

Llama 380 is a cute little almost 1911 that I like, when it functions. I'd like it a lot more if it didn't fail to feed at least twice with every magazine fired. I have 2 magazines and this happens with both. It appears as if the cartridge rim hangs on the extractor, and fails to get between the extractor and the bolt. I tried rounding the corner of the extractor, but so far that didn't help. Since I found a source for a new extractor, I'll work on the old one some more and maybe look at getting another recoil spring.

I think I settled on IMR 4227 as the powder for the Charter 44 special. I seem to be getting a full burn, unlike the others I've tried. I have some of that powder and don't use it for anything else.

Shot a few rounds through the Kimber UltraCarry, 2 handed, strong hand and weak hand only.  My weak hand sucked and some limp wristing caused a couple of misfeeds. Otherwise not too bad at 25 yards.

Brought the old Ruger Security Six, my deer hunting gun fitted with a red dot sight. After the first six rounds or so I settled down and was able to hit what I wanted at 50 yards. A bit rusty I think. The 4 inch clay birds turned to dust. I used to be able to do that with iron sites. Getting old eyes sucks. Next time I'll have some coated SWC loaded to try. I actually found some. I haven't shot non-jacketed bullets in years.

Looks to me like the communists in DC are actually trying to create a civil war.

No Trail Ride

Late last fall I brought all of our horse tack home to be cleaned and oil the leather. This morning I put the saddles and pads in the back of the truck and we headed to the barn. The Boss still has back pain, but she insisted on taking a trail ride. We scraped the mud off the horses, which was all her back could tolerate, so I saddled both horses. Then the property owner/friend gave each an injection of ACE, to keep them from becoming too excited during our first ride of the year. I went to the cabinet to retrieve the bridles, and oh crap. They were still back home. I forgot to bring them, so no trail ride for us.

Hope the rest of the year goes better.

Found Some Coated 357 SWC

Not surprisingly I've run low on bullets for my 357 Mag. I have lots of powder and primers, about 300 rounds loaded, but only about 20 bullets. My first choice is Sierra 158 Gr hollow core, then Hornady 158 Gr XTP-HP. The Sierra is a little more accurate in my gun, and both have performed well on deer. Can't find any of those.

My eldest son uses coated cast lead bullets in all of his handgun loads. He claims no barrel leading issues like I did years ago. So I went looking. Found coated cast 158 Gr SWC that I ordered with a 3 month delivery. Then I found another source and ordered some from them.  Those were delivered in 1 week. I'll be loading those just like the jacketed bullets (1250 fps) and see how they do. If it works out I'll save the JHP for hunting.

Definitely Election Fraud

Now a judge in Georgia has given a vote integrity group access to the physical ballots in Fulton County amid sworn affidavits that many of those ballots were sketchy and seemed to be generated by automation.

And then there is this.

To them, 2020 election fraud was an industrial level crime.  It was of such magnitude that it moved from the category of an election crime to a sovereign crime.

There was no interest on our profilers’ part in doing investigation of massive voter fraud.  They felt it was so obvious and the current work being done by citizens and published on hard-to-find blogs was state-of-the-art and no further investigations would find much more. Their comments were striking because they said the data easily available showed the election fraud patterns had two very alarming characteristics: It was not the first time this was tried, and it will be performed again, at scale, in the next election.

There was too much evidence to come to any conclusion other than the national elections were stolen by the Dems.

And now those in control are doing their best to turn this republic into a communist state.

Fire the Fed

Several years ago I had a sign on the back of my truck that said 'Fire the Fed Government".  I had a lot of agreement, but not enough.  It's time to put it back.

The other day I was wondering why the state of Texas is putting up with the crap being put upon them by the Fed government. I was wondering why they don't ignore Biden's dictates and simply close the border, into the state. In our system the state has the authority to nullify federal law, like the Dems have done, so why not nullify executive orders? It's not as good as firing the federal government, but it's a start.

380 Day

Took the Llama Micromax and the other 2 380s to the range today.  The intent was to make sure of function integrity. Two of the 3 performed better than I expected.

My pocket, bad breath distance, Keltec P3AT functioned without issue and is a lot more accurate than I thought. Despite the almost not there sites, I was able to easily put shots on a half sized silhouette at 25 yards.

The Bosses Bersa Thunder 380 was also reliable and easier to shoot accurately at 25 yards than I remember. If you like DA/SA carry guns, they are a bargain, rugged, reliable and accurate.

I think I know why the Micromax has feeding issues. I think the extractor does not want to allow the cartridge rim under it. Almost a 50-50 proposition.

Also tried a couple of different loads in the 44 special. Not impressed with accuracy. Probably due to unignited powder.  The newly installed Hogue grip fits my hand better and makes the light weight 5 shot way more comfortable.

Because I have plenty of 9mm components, I brought the Hi-Power for fun. Ran a couple of magazines. After I removed the mag disconnect and blocked the trigger back years ago, it became my favorite pistol. The fiber optic front site didn't hurt any either.

DC Communists

So the communists in DC surround themselves with a fence and national guard. They're shaking in their boots because of the 'riots'.  They didn't care about the carnage, looting, burning and deaths that happened in cities across the country. I wonder if they could handle being the target of a real riot. They hide behind a fence while eliminating security at our southern border. They don't deserve the security. I believe the guard is controlled by the state governor. If I was governor I'd call them home.

I've read that the house communists have introduced a bill that would create a gun registry and require all transactions go through a FFL with the appropriate government intervention and records.

The communists are also pushing a bill to legalize all the corrupt and illegal cheating that took place in the last election.  I've seen enough independent data to be sure that this presidential election was stolen, despite what the corrupt media reports.

So much for the free republic that I've known all my life.

Keep your powder dry.
