About 2 weeks ago I bought some powder called Trail Boss, to try in 44 special cartridges. It's a propellant with very low density designed specifically for the cowboy action crowd using 45 colts.
I have a Charter Arms 44 special. That little revolver is very light weight. Full house 44 special loads just simply hurts the hand to shoot, so light loads are what I want. By that I mean 240 grain bullets at about 650-700 feet per second.
The trouble is, I finally got some experimental loads built, but there hasn't been the time to try them. And I thought that I'd have spare time at this time in my life. Yeah. Right.
