The Next Day

So the next day after shoveling out the stalls I took my mare for a short ride by myself.  Last spring she had issues going across open fields, and knowing that the corn is down that's where we headed.Some mares have an issue with leaving the herd, and my girl is no exception.  She was a bit antsy going up the road and a lot antsy in the picked corn field.  Not having much time, I headed her back down the road, and barely had control of her speed.  I turned her into a front yard, and the next thing I knew I was on the ground.  Really don't know what happened.  Still sore today.
