Last spring the access riser on the septic tank popped loose. It's been fixed twice now, including cutting roots from the drain field. It popped loose again and the tank has overflowed. Looks like the field has quit draining. This week someone will come and do the Taralift procedure. This is where a tube is driven into the ground and high pressure air is introduced to create cracks around the drain pipes. Kinda like fracking. The idea is to reopen drainage channels in the ground and around the pipes. Sure hope that fixes the mess.
Interesting thing, is that we've not had any noticeable problems in the house.
