Killers in the House

Some time ago James posted that our most popular house pets are killers.  The Boss and I have 2 dogs.  A 1 year old Shiba Inu and a 3 year old Husky-Sheppard mix.

The Shiba, a small Japanese field dog, seems to have little hunting instincts.  She'll attack insects, and chased a cat out of the yard one evening.  Good thing she didn't catch the cat, because it looked bigger than her.  Though she is a damn good early alarm system. Any unusual noise brings a woof, and then the big dog decides if it's worth his attention.

The Husky mix seems to be on the hunt every time he's outside.  He's constantly checking both gold fish ponds for frogs, snakes, and even looks longingly at the fish.  He tries to get at birds, but he just can't fly like they do.  A few days ago he had fresh, very fresh rabbit for breakfast.  He ate the whole damn thing.

I was going to post pictures, but I gave the camera card to the Boss so she could load them on her computer, and now she can't find it.
