I fired the 4" Bulldog .44 special today for the first time. The trigger could be smoother but it's actually fairly decent for a $425 revolver, and accuracy seemed very acceptable as well. I shot some off the shelf reloads and some lead semi-wadcutter hollow points.
I set up the chronograph and found the reloads to be in the 640 feet/second range, then the battery died. By feel alone, the hollow points were quicker.
At first a thought accuracy sucked. Then I remembered that it's been 2 months since I did any shooting, and then I realized that I was shooting at the 50 yard bank. So I guess bullet impact inside 12" wasn't all that bad with inexpensive factory ammo.
