I see that Europe is now leading the way in getting into the banking business. I suppose that's to be expected, but I was surprised to see it happening here.
Why is it that the socialist (liberal/Democratic) solution to every problem, real or imaginary, is to spend more of my money? Haven't they learned from history that leads to more, and usually tougher problems?

They've no need of learning. They know how to push their agenda by a sheeple-type populace. That it doesn't work doesn't matter to them. Its about things other than outcomes. If it was about outcomes, they'd probably be Republicans, if not full bore Conservatives.
