The time came sooner than I expected. Friday morning the Husky/Shepherd (15 YO) lost most of his back legs motor control. He would stumble, fall down, move in circles and held his head at an angle. Yesterday we sent him to dog heaven to join our little Sheba Inu. We've had those 2 critters for 13 years. We've lost both this summer. The house seems empty without them. Out of habit I look for them when moving about the house and yard.
The little terrier stray the Boss picked up earlier this summer helps fill the void.
