Been having intermittent home wifi issues for about a month now. Sometimes I had a signal but couldn't connect. A few days ago the problem became continuous. Replacing the cable modem brought things back to intermittent. Replacing the router seems to have fixed the issue. The router was probably about 13 years old.
The Boss ordered the router on-line. During setup my laptop screen came up in Japanese, I think. Had to phone the manufacturer for help. I think the range is slightly less, but we now have a lot more band width.
