Went with the Boss to see the Doc today. Scheduled knee replacement surgery for the last of February. Her knee is bone on bone, so combined with a very bad back she's been approaching invalid status.
Guessing June before she can ride a horse again. The Doc said 'go for it'.

The mare was looking better today. The wound is draining a lot. She's moving around more and eating a little better. She has started acting more like herself.
