Never shot sporting clays before. That was certainly a bunch of fun. The place we went to was close and only had 5 stations for a total of 50 birds. Every bird was thrown in groups of 2, with most sequential but some true pairs.
The birds that were on a downward path took some adjustment. but the true doubles gave me the most trouble. I found it difficult to pick the first target. Several times I shot between them. I remember having the same problem when I first started hunting quail, many decades ago.
I haven't fired a shotgun at a moving target in close to 20 years. 26 of 50 I'd guess isn't all that bad. In a few weeks I'll make time to do it again.
