Robot

We received our new floor cleaning robot today.  The Boss ordered it because running a vacuum cleaner is rough on her back.  A few years ago she had spine surgery removing arthritis from the bones.  She hurts for several days after cleaning the floors, but hates to ask me to do it for her.

Today I vacuumed the high use areas, the same areas with the most dog fur.  Later when the robot arrived, I let it do the low traffic areas.  It did OK, but I suspect it won't get the floor as clean as our Dyson Animal.  Even if we occasionally need to run the Dyson, it'll still save on the back pain.  Besides, at least at first, it's entertaining to watch run around.
