Iran recently threatened consequences if the departing US aircraft carrier is replaced. Basically the US navy was told to stay away. The threat was apparently quite shallow. The USS Abraham Lincoln, and support vessels sailed through the straight without challenge. Looks like Iran was afraid to get its ass kicked. About time we acted like a super-power.
Remember grade school bullies? Generally cowards all. Stand up and fight back. Bullies usually back down.
