The only time I've ever carried in anything resembling a cross draw holster is when deer hunting, and then it's a bandoleer holster. My carry guns are always on my strong side. The Kimber UltraCArry or Kahr PM9 are either OWB or IWB (most of the time) and the little Keltec 380 goes in my pocket.
Now that I'm walking with a cane using my left hand, having a gun on my right (strong) side remains a non-issue. The problem will be after surgery when I'm well enough to hobble around, but not yet healed enough to tolerate a gun on the same hip that's been repaired.
Does anybody have experience with cross draw holsters?
