My youngest son's wife lost her mother last Sunday from ALS. I guess it's fair to say that she actually faded away over a few months, and her body finally passed last Sunday. The Boss had become good friends with her.
Three years ago the Boss lost her mother due to Alzheimer's. Six months before that I lost my mother to the same disease.
I'd rather leave this world by being hit by a truck.
