It's Coming

Glenn Beck, FOX News channel, reported that US military was used as law enforcement in the town of Samson, Alabama. He also reported that the mayor and governor said they didn't request military help, and that the White House refused to answer the inquiry. He then reported thare's a battalion of US Army stationed (deployed) within the US for the purpose of handling disasters, natural and/or man made, and to resolve civil unrest.

Do we now have a king over us subjects? Isn't this type of thing one of the reasons for the revolutionary war?

The John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007 expanded the President's authority to declare martial law and seize control of National Guard units from state governors. Luckily, these provisions were repealed the very next year. Unfortunately, someone forgot to tell the executive branch . . .

So we have US military deployed within US borders, and a coming effort to disarm the civilians. We shouldn't have the means to protect ourselves you know. The authorities will do that for us. You don't have to hit me over the head. I can see what's coming.
