Sounds like a lot of todays Democrats doesn't he? Naturally having guns does not serve 'the state', that's not the point. The point is to serve The People, and make the state think twice before acting against The People.

Today The People are getting pissed at the state. The state has grown and is growing more obnoxious, maybe to the point that a little bloodshed is required. One of the founding fathers predicted that The People will again need to throw off tyranny for liberty.

With the present condition of our country, some are predicting a civil war. If it should happen I predict it will be us against them. It will be The People traveling to Washington to replace, by force of arms, those now in power. I know a few chomping at the bit to get-it-on.

And that's why We The People have a great need of arms.
