When I told my eldest son about the bill introduced requiring gun owners being registered, like in Illinois, he didn't say very much. In a quiet businesslike manner he said he doubts any such bill would ever become federal law in this country. Too many of us value our liberties and civil rights to tolerate that or confiscation. That kind of crap is not why he voluntarily served in the Marines. He also said he will not surrender his guns, and he will not be registered like a car, or a Jew in Nazi Germany.
It appears The Boss and I did OK with raising that man.
