It took a while (our legal system couldn't outrun a turtle) but it's apparently 'legal' to keep your weapon locked in your car regardless of what the employer has to say.
I had and still have mixed feelings about this issue. If I own property and decide that I don't want firearms on it, then that should be my choice to make. If that's unacceptable to those that carry, then they can stay off my property. On the other hand, a property owner making that decision, is just stupid. And as one licensed to carry, I'm always offended by such nonsense, especially since I reserve the right to self-defense. Oh, and let's not forget that pesky 2A.
