Looks like NOLA is in the sights of another hurricane, and the levies are yet to be completed. I wonder if private citizen property will be stolen by the authorities this time around.
To survive a devastating natural event, remember the basic survival requirements. In order of importance - shotgun & ammo, water and food.

NOLA has a couple of issues in their favor this time around: first, the cat 5 storm that was expected reached landfall as a cat 2. Second, Mayor Nagin isn't running the show this time; Governor Bobby Jindal is. I've heard from a few people that were doing contracting last time that this time around, stuff has been pre-staged and ready to go for a change. I'm sure the damage will be much less overall when its all said and done.
