Procrastination

As of tomorrow both of my concealed carrry licenses will be expired. I sent the Florida renewal in time but it was rejected because the local PD didn't fill out the finger print card as directed. As for the Ohio license, my procrastination jumped up and bit me. I didn't apply for the renewal until getting back from the Europe trip. All I can say is "my bad" on both counts.

I found it interesting that the lady at the sherrifs office said to either don't carry until the new license arrives, or keep the receipt of renewal application with me. She implied that I could legally carry with an expired license. Seems a little chancy to me. But then again, it might just be more chancy if I don't carry.
