Nonsense

As expected the gun grabbers are spouting their usual nonsense.  I'm sure that banning guns, in any shape or form will work just as well as prohibiting alcoholic drinks and drugs in the past.  And it also worked so well in England and Australia.  But that seems the way we're heading.

Too bad we can't adopt the policies of Isreal, or the school system in Texas and Idaho, where teachers and staff are permitted to carry concealed with special permission.  Those policies actually work, so not a chance it'll become common.  In the mean time all school children are at risk, thanks to the illogical.

Well at least here in Ohio a few are seeing the lite.  I never had much respect for Dewine in the past.  He's changing my mind now.

..."We traditionally think of first responders as law enforcement, police and fire departments. But when there is a school emergency, teachers and educators are really the first responders to our children," DeWine said.

The recommendations from Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters came on the heels of the Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Asked about teachers being armed in their classrooms, Deters replied, "If a teacher is trained to handle a weapon, I would have no objection to a teacher having a weapon."
