"It IS About Islam"

As a Christmas present the Boss gave me that book.  I'm about half way through it.  I highly recommend it along with "Unveiling Islam".  Whether or not our idiot leaders realize it, we are at war, though a one sided war so far.  It's good to know the enemy and even better if we realize the intent is to completely enslave us into a different life.

Sore Knees and Aching Back

Took this week off from work to . . . do physical work.  So far 3 days of crawling around on the floor installing new laminate flooring.  When we moved here the Boss claimed the studio above the 2 car garage as hers.  She hated the vinyl tile on the floor, so now I get the fun of installing the new floor.  Not done yet.

Fire All of Them

My last 2 engineering positions, and maybe several before, involved screening and background checks including financial.  All of that happened before an offer of employment was tendered.  Now I know that visa checks are not as thorough.  Combined with our extremely open borders, how are we supposed to have any belief that our federal government is even near doing it's job.

In the last couple of years we've been made aware of how corrupt and inadequate all of the federal departments happen to be.  That even includes the secret service.  There is only 1 conclusion that makes any sense.  If I was that inadequate at doing my job I would be terminated.  We need to hit the reset button.

It's time to fire the federal government, including every department.

Taralift

Last spring the access riser on the septic tank popped loose.  It's been fixed twice now, including cutting roots from the drain field.  It popped loose again and the tank has overflowed.  Looks like the field has quit draining.  This week someone will come and do the Taralift procedure.  This is where a tube is driven into the ground and high pressure air is introduced to create cracks around the drain pipes.  Kinda like fracking.  The idea is to reopen drainage channels in the ground and around the pipes.  Sure hope that fixes the mess.

Interesting thing, is that we've not had any noticeable problems in the house.

Scope Mount Fixed

Went to a bigger diameter screw and a bottom tap.  Everything's back together.  Now if I can find the time to get back to the range.
