Just Get Over It
I just saw a commercial about an all electric car and how there is zero pollution. Does electricity just appear from some magic well? With the exception of nuclear and wind, today's electric power comes from fossil fuels. And those that don't effect the environment in other ways. You can't produce, transport and use consumable energy without effecting our environment, so get over it.

And let's not forget the heavy metals in the batteries. And the mining to obtain the heavy metals.
It's far from a "zero impact" technology.
