Now We Have Corporate Welfare

One of the truths about a free capitalist economy is that if government keeps their dirty fingers our of it, everything is self-correcting. Unfortunately, government, even an elected government just can't leave anything alone.

According to Uncle -
So, basically, we have two huge companies and their performance sucks more than Metallica’s new album. The solution to the problem, if you’re a politician or a retard, is to bail them out. What that would mean is our government is going to buy something that nobody wants at a price no one wants to pay with money the government probably doesn’t have to spend anyway. This comes after two other big companies tank. Yeehaw, corporate welfare!

Disappointing doesn't say enough about this travesty. GW may have the lowest rating in history, but there's a reason that congress has a lower rating. Let the companies flush on down the hole. In 6 months to a year, all will be well again. This crap is sure to make things worse in the long run.

There's no "probably" about it. There is no money for this. The only way to have the cash to do this is to print more. Its a terribly troubling thing they're doing, because as time goes by, they keep adding companies to bail out.
