America to Greece

Romney, to some extent, was absolutely right.  The 47% of the population receiving government money will not vote for him regardless what he does or says.  The Dems painted this as offensive.  Maybe so, but damn true.

With about half the population taking money from government and the other half paying government, we're in deep shit as a country.  We're a hell of a lot closer to being Greece than the America I've known for most of my 60 years.

It's somewhat amusing that the guy who is responsible for the vast part of our debt is now making it a big deal to reduce the deficit.  And naturally he wants to steal even more money from the few that are actually trying to keep this boat afloat.  The 47% is bound to increase.

I've come to understand why the Dems, in particular, will not curtail illegal immigration.  I understand why they do nothing to actually help our economy, and in fact are the major cause of the existing problems.  Having a large percentage of voters sucking the teat increases their power.  The leaches will not vote for anyone that threatens their free government money.

It's been said that if you find yourself in a hole, the first thing is to stop digging.  That's not going to happen as long as the Dems control 2 parts of the government.  They'll try to tax our way out, while hoping it doesn't work.  Wouldn't want to reduce their power after all.  The result will be even more sucking the teat.

Getting out of this, if we ever do, will be very painful for all.  So painful that I can't see it happening.  The teat suckers will not accept the pain willingly.  Greece here we come.
