Who's The Boss

We now have close to 200,000 citizens in Ohio that are licensed to carry a concealed hand gun. That's approximately 2% of the population. Have we had increased violent crime? No. Has violent crime decreased? I don't know but I have my doubts, at least where I live, but nationally violent crime is decreasing according to the FBI report. And nationally gun ownership and concealed carry licensing has been increasing.

It seems that the citizens of the various states are exercising their rights, and their freedom. The various state governments understand who they get their pay from. I wish the Fed understood who their bosses are.

It's time to FIRE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

2% of the population can't be expected to make crime rates go down.

When bad guys get to the point where 1 in 10, or even 1 in 20 potential victims may be armed...you'll see a drop then.

The significance of the statistic as it stands is that, with 2% of the population armed in public, crime hasn't INCREASED.

That demonstrates unequivocally that law abiding citizens aren't suddenly turned into crazed lunatics willing to draw down over a parking space or slow service at McDonalds like the gun banners would have us believe.

And if enough of the law abiding realize this and start carrying, THEN you'll see a significant impact on crime rates.
