Spent last weekend at a big paintball game in Michigan. Unfortunately, I didn't spend enough time on the field shooting people as I expected or wanted.
My main gun couldn't be adjusted to get a velocity greater than 245fps, so failing to get the air regulator apart I switched to gun #2. I managed to play for a while with that rig.
When I tried to refill the air tank, the pressure disk blew, so I replaced it and it blew again. Bought a rebuild kit for the tank pressure regulator, but then it leaked at the split line. So I switched to air tank #2.
But now the air line to the gun regulator of gun #2 was leaking. I bought some new macro-line, but that didn't help. Also the regulator on gun #2 now leaked.
Then Sunday it rained. When the rain eased up I considered playing using gun#3. Artificial hip combined with mud has the potential for disaster, so I sat under the canopy drinking coffee while others of the group played.
Sounds like a terrible trip? Not really. Even with the frustration, I had a good time. Good company, camp fire and adult beverages, . . . priceless.

Lack of Posting
Sorry about the lack of posting of late. Go to work, extremely busy, then home to work, again extremely busy. Last weekend the Boss and I were out of state, then this weekend I'll be at Hell Survivors.
Don't know how many more trips this old body can tolerate, and still enjoy.
Besides, I'm resolving myself to the downfall of this country due to stupid people voting. Why bother with complaining at this point?

Sleepy Hollow
So how does a headless horseman navigate and strike with such accuracy?
Maybe it's not so crazy for blind people to be licensed to carry concealed.

Better Training
A co-worker went to shoot extreme and had a blast. I think my son and I will be going there in a few weeks. Looks like a lot of fun and great training.
Fundamental Change
It's increasingly obvious that we no longer live in a soverign country. Our foreign trade and policy is dictated by others, and our borders are all but non-existant.
Some 2,837 illegal immigrants convicted of sexual offenses were recently cut loose from American jails to comply with a Supreme Court order that says immigrants cannot be held if their home countries refuse to take them back, according to The Washington Times.
The Supreme Court ruled in 2001 that immigration detention cannot be punitive, so if illegal immigrants can't be deported they must be released back into American communities.

A Little Range Time . . Very Little
Yesterday I managed to sneak away to the range for 2-1/2 hours. Tested the repaired Ruger Security Six and the modified Hi-Power. As expected all was well. The 357 fired with every press of the trigger and the newly installed fiber optic front site on the Hi-Power was great.
I had the new front site installed along with a Novac rear, replacing the black target sites. The fiber is much easier for these old eyes to see, and better for the intended use of this weapon.
I also ran rounds over the chronograph from both the above as well as my Charter 44 special, in addition to shooting from a rest for accuracy. Haven't done that in a while.
While there I observed a young man instructing what appeared to be his father and grandfather handgun shooting. Not only is that unusual, but he didn't do a very good job of it either.

Shotgun Justice
This came to me via e-mail.
Not checked for accuracy.
11 YR OLD SHOOTS ILLEGALS thanks FOX NEWS for reporting it.
BUTTE , MONTANA
Shotgun preteen vs. Illegal alien Home Invaders...
Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26,
probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.
Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father's room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old's knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.
When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive. It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0'Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.
Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news........? An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself......against two murderous, illegal immigrants.......and she wins. She is still alive. Now THAT is Gun Control!
Thought for the day.... Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist.' I like this kind of e-mail! American citizens defending themselves and their homes.

Way to go young lady. I hope you don't suffer any emotional issues as a result of delivery the required medicine to those thugs.
