Once the new Ohio law reducing the collective bargaining rights of public workers got on the ballot, it was doomed. This state is overflowing with old/ex union workers primarily from the automotive industry. These people support unions, no matter what happens.
I was encouraged to see that the state constitutional amendment was approved. It says that no citizen of the state can be compelled to buy health insurance. That was a state slap on the face of Obamacare. I wish we would strike down the state mandated auto insurance, wearing seat belts and motorcycle helmets. Government, at any level, needs to get out of our lives.
