The House of Assholes

I just heard that The House of Assholes has passed their version of a health care bill that includes government control. When The People voted for change, I wonder if their version of change included a desire for government control of their lives, and the complete ruination of all the factors that has made this country great, at least until now.

Statism - the principle or policy of concentrating extensive economic, political, and related controls in the state at the cost of individual liberty.

Communism - a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.

Totalitarianism - absolute control by the state or a governing branch of a highly centralized institution.

I'm old enough to remember when 'communism' was a bad word in this country. Now we're absolutely running in that direction.
